I need to be visually creative! I especially love painting. There is something about mixing color, the flow of paint off the brush, and thinking about how to portray an image on canvas that is therapeutic, honoring to the subject or the Creator. I love that time when I'm "in the zone" of creating and painting! And I'm blessed when my work brings inspiration, courage or hope to others.

Hope on a Walk One of the days I was walking and wondering how long a certain trial would last, I saw this image down a neighbor's driveway and was filled with hope and thankfulness. My future is bright.	Port Orchard Boat I loved this sweet and colorful old boat in someone's yard in Port Orchard.	Fabio One of my favorite tulips. Fabio has the striking red accented with a sassy yellow fringe!
Ketchikan Creek Street.... in Ketchikan, AK.	Mt. Ranier in the Fall I love "our" mountain... this is a view from Maple Valley, WA.	Red and White Dahlia My dad grows dahlias. This one is one of my favorites.
Pink Flowers from LA I don't know what these are - but I had fun painting them. Found them on a walk with my niece in LA.	Girl at the Piano This is inspired from a photo of my friend's grandmother who happened to be a photographer for some movie stars in the 1940's.	Poppies One day, during a low point in my life, my uncle brought me these flowers ... just out of the blue. I was so thankful for his thoughtfulness and wanted to remember this encouraging moment long after the flowers were gone.
Hawthorn "Rose" Blossoms I was surprised to see that the blossoms of the Hawthorn tree look like mini roses! I love it when I am pleasantly surprised by creation!	Hawthorn Blossom I was drawn to the hawthorn tree because of its beautiful dark pink blossoms. To my surprise, I discovered that the blossoms looked like miniature roses! Rose-like hawthorn blossoms. 5" x 5" acrylic painting on a 1 1/4 gallery canvas.	Hope in the Sunset This was a "Greeting Card from God" moment... when I was drawn outside by a beautiful rainbow and, after enjoying the rainbow, I was doubly-blessed by this wonderful sunset.
Sunset in Fort Lauderdale Enraptured by a sunset cruise through the waterways of Fort Lauderdale.... I LOVE how light reflects off the water and the amazing color in the sky.	Sunset Point, Key West I'm not sure what it would be like to be surrounded by such beauty all the time. This special trip to Florida and the Caribbean reminded me how vast and beautiful our world is.	The Beach is Calling Key West is a special place.... beautiful and relaxing.
